

Zoë Phillips is the Farm to Preschool Program Manager at the Urban & Environmental Policy Institute/Center for Food & Justice. She is developing partnerships with local preschools in underserved communities, implementing nutrition curricula, and facilitating fresh food distribution in an effort to improve the diet and health of preschoolers and their parents.
Prior to joining UEPI, Zoë was a Health Educator at the L.A. County Dept. of Public Health working on land use policies. She also has a background in botany and laboratory research, ranging from the development of new anti-cancer medicines to researching the effects of prenatal stress on mothers and infants. Zoë received her MPH from the University of Southern California, a MS from New York University (Biology), and a BS from Cornell University (Biology). She is also a Certified Health Educator Specialist (CHES).
