Broadly, psychology is defined as the study of mental and behavioral processes.
Psychologists study a wide range of complex phenomena in humans and other species, ranging from basic processes
to real world applications of scientific knowledge. Due to this complexity of many processes, researchers often
view phenomena as interdisciplinary in nature and benefit by becoming familiar with related fields.
