Professor Homiak teaches courses in philosophy, women's studies, and ancient history. Her primary philosophical interests are in topics in moral and political philosophy, especially as they are discussed by the three great Greek philosophers Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.

Professor Brighouse’s interests include philosophy of science, philosophy of space and time and philosophy of physics more generally. She teaches some classes in these areas, but also teaches a course on philosophy and science fiction as well as other introductory philosophy courses.

Alan Tomhave's interests fall into political philosophy and applied ethics.  His primary concern is the conflict between personal liberties and communal obligations, and the foundations of said liberties and obligations.  In addition, he works in the areas of Asian and comparative philosophy.

Kory Schaff specializes in moral and political philosophy, particularly in the tradition of Hegel and German Idealism. He teaches courses in these areas as well as philosophy of law, philosophy of economics, critical social theory, and feminist and queer theory. His current research focuses on Hegel and the ethical dimensions of work organization, constitutional issues regarding same-sex marriage, and the ethics and politics of the drug war.

Saul Traiger teaches courses in 17th and 18th century philosophy, the foundations of cognitive science, contemporary epistemology and the philosophy of mind. His research includes work on the historical and conceptual foundations of cognitive science, the philosophy of mind, epistemology, and the philosophy of David Hume.
