STUDENT ESSAYS

In October 2005, three students from each of the colleges that are Lilly Endowment grantees were invited to attend a conference in Indianapolis. The student attendees were asked write essays prior to attending the conference. These essays were to answer one of the following questions:

Who is the most influential person in your college life?
What has been your biggest "aha!" moment in college?
Describe your upbringing with regard to religion. What did you or do you most enjoy or find most attractive about your religious upbringing?
Describe your upbringing with regard to religion. What did you or do you find most distasteful or difficult about your religious upbringing?
