Ian McLaughlin (Psychobiology senior) presented a poster, "Ritalin effects in LoS/HiS rats" at the 2008 Western Psychological Association meeting in Irvine, CA.

Mission Statement
One of the most exciting scientific questions today is how thoughts, emotions, and behavior emerge from the functioning of nervous and endocrine systems. Psychobiology is the study of how molecules, cells, nervous systems, and the environment interact to produce and regulate behavior. Behavior impacts on and is affected by physiologic systems at all levels. The mission of the psychobiology program is to engage students in the quest to understand these multilevel interactions in ways that promote intellectual and personal growth while preparing them for success in a wide range of professions.
