Cantus Pacificus is an all-male professional vocal quartet specializing in historically-informed performance of early music and Gregorian chant.

In concert at Occidental College on November 9, they will perform a program in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas, featuring musical settings of his best-loved

Eucharistic hymn texts, including Panis Angelicus, Pange Lingua, and O Salutaris Hostia.  The concert will explore the musical life of these exquisite sacred poems, from medieval chant to Renaissance polyphony (including works by Josquin, Byrd, Palestrina, Guerrero, and others) to modern hymnody.
