Courtesy Access: LibraryAccessPass

Welcome!

Members of the public may apply for a short term courtesy pass for research and educational purposes. The LibraryAccessPass allows entrance to the library and use of materials from the stacks. Access to online library materials via library computers requires a Campus ID. Many public libraries offer remote access to research databases, including a large collection of databases from the Los Angeles Public Library.

Passes may be issued for a duration of 1-3 weeks, based on the research description and estimated need. If more than 3 weeks is needed, a Library Patrons membership is recommended.

LibraryAccessPass applications must be submitted in person. Applicants must be age 15 or older and present a Driver's License or a DMV ID.

When visiting the library, pass holders must show their pass and sign in. The pass is non-transferable, revocable, and must be shown on demand.

Pass hours are Monday-Saturday 9a-8p and Sunday 10a-8pm during regular academic sessions and 9a-5p Monday-Friday during summer, breaks, and holidays.

Please check the hours page for the most up to date schedule of hours.
