Library Services for Alumni

Welcome!

Your Tiger Alumni Access Card, produced by Campus Dining, serves as your Library card. The barcode on the back of the ID must be scanned into the Library's system before you can check out materials. 

Below is a list of some of the key resources and services available to you at the Occidental College Library. We encourage you to take advantage of the services available to you and to ask if you think there is something else we might be able to do for you.

Off-campus database access is not available to alumni because of licensing restrictions imposed by the vendors.  Many public libraries offer remote access to research databases, including a large collection of databases from the Los Angeles Public Library.

Your Alumni ID must be presented when entering the library, checking out materials, and requesting services or information relating to your patron record.
