Borrowing LINK+

Students

It is your responsibility to return LINK+ items on time and in the same condition as when checked out.

Loan Period: 21 days

Maximum:  unlimited

Renewals allowed: 1 renewal may be requested no sooner than 3 days before the due date. Renewals are not automatic. You will need to check back to verify whether your request has been accepted. Renewal period is 2 weeks.

Overdue LINK+: LINK+ items must be returned on or before the due date. Failure to return a LINK+ item when due may result in the loss of all library privileges until the item is returned.

Penalties:

• Daily fines: $1 per day per item for the first 15 days. After 15 days overdue, a bill for replacement charges is generated. 

• Replacement charges: Replacement charges for a  LINK+ book are $115. This includes a $90 replacement charge, $15 overdue fines, and a non-refundable $10 billing fee. 

• Damaged and lost books will be billed to borrowers for the same amount as replacement charges.

• Unpaid library charges will be forwarded to Student Accounts for collection.
