Placing Items on Reserve

Books from the library, items from your personal collections, supplemental readings, and other items can be placed on Reserve. The Course Reserve request form can be downloaded, picked up at the Library Circulation Desk, or sent to you as an email attachment. All submissions can be dropped off at the library anytime. Completed or updated request forms may be returned as an email attachment. Choose the check-out time and whether the item may leave the library. Faculty are responsible for copyright compliance.

Students will have access to Electronic Reserve items 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the Main OASys Menu. The library can scan pages you bring to us and place them on the Reserve List in digital format. These can be hand-written problem solutions, computer printouts, syllabi, or even photocopies of journal articles. Submissions must be 8 1/2 x 11 with sharp and clear images for scanning. If you have a web page, it can be linked to your Reserve List. Also, any site on the World Wide Web you want your students to visit can be linked to the List. Just give us the address (URL).

Items are placed on Reserve in the order received. Allow 3-5 work days for normal processing.  Check your course on the Course Reserve List in OASys to see when materials have been processed.
