Google is the default web search for the Oxy Library Website, however it takes a few days for Google to index new pages on this site so be aware that you may not be able to find new or recently updated pages with your search.

As an alternative to Google, the library also offers Google Mini web search for the Oxy Library Website.  This index is locally maintained by ITS so it probably has a more up-to-date listing of our pages.  

If you are trying to find a book, article, fact, or other research resource, you will probably do better to use our Database pages to find an appropriate resource.  To search the larger World Wide Web and Internet, try our Search the Web page.  For help choosing an appropriate database or search engine ask a reference librarian.  You can contact us by phone at x2818 and by email at reference@oxy.edu.
