Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Marathon Reading

Marathon Reading of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Tuesday October 2, on the quad outside the library.
Beginning at 1:30 PM moves inside at 6:30 PM to the Jeffers Room, where it continues throughout the night, then returns to the quad at 8:30 AM Wednesday October 3 until finished [~4:00 PM]

In celebration of Banned Books Week (September 29 - October 6, 2007), the Occidental College Library is
taking a visit to Hogwarts to visit Harry Potter!

Everyone on campus is invited to share in the reading, which will take place Tuesday, October 2, at 1:30 PM and will continue until 4:30 PM on October 3.

Sign up NOW to read aloud for 15-minutes The sign-up sheet is posted inside the library.

Banned Books: Shakespeare Censored! explores why such a highly regarded author has garnered so much negative attention; explains the purpose of Banned Books Week; and discusses the necessity of intellectual freedom.
