Library Materials Suggestions

At Occidental College, collection development involves the entire campus. While librarians make the final decisions, we take seriously your requests to purchase materials for the library's collection. To make the best use of our limited resources, we will consider how the item meets the college's goals and needs, and whether one of our partner libraries also owns it. The library has agreements with several libraries to borrow materials within just a few days.

Please use the online form and provide as much information as possible about the item you are recommending for the collection. We may need to contact you for further information, so also supply your name and barcode number.
