Occidental College programs for enrolled students, faculty, administrators, and staff, are eligible for a variety of services offered by the library.  Your Occidental ID serves as your Library card.  The barcode on the front of your ID must be scanned into the Library’s automated system before you can check out materials.  Certain privileges are available to alumni, staff family (age 15+), and other special groups.  The general public may purchase Library Patron membership by contacting the Library Administration office.  All borrower registration takes place at the Circulation Desk and all eligible borrowers must fill out a Patron Registration form and show a picture ID.  Circulation staff will process your registration while you wait. 

Occidental College Library is a member of Metronet.  Metronet is a referral process of neighboring institutions based on accepted protocols.  The Occidental College Library accepts Metronet referrals.
