Beginning Fall '10, all Course Reserve listings will be accessed via Moodle courses instead of library web pages. Both physical (books, DVDs, special materials, etc.) and electronic (articles in databases, online content, and scanned documents) items are now listed in the corresponding Moodle course. Physical materials placed on reserve at the Music Library are available by inquiring at the Circulation Desk. Most reserve items are for library use only, and circulate for three hours at a time.  Some items, however, may be taken from the library.  These circulate for twenty-four hours at a time.

Placing Items on Reserve Library owned or licensed materials and items from your personal collections may be placed on Reserve. Purchase requests for Reserve items should be submitted as early as possible as some items may take 3-6 weeks to receive and process. ILL and LINK+ loans may not be put on Reserve. Faculty are responsible for compliance with Copyright and Fair Use at Occidental College. For Course Reserve guidelines and to request materials to be put on reserve, please complete the NEW form and forward to kieft@oxy.edu. Items are placed on Reserve in the order received. Allow 2-3 work days for normal processing. Check your Moodle course page to see when materials have been processed.
