The Institutional Research and Assessment
Group:
a) carries out research projects of interest to the College administration.
These projects include surveys of students and alumni and the collection
and analysis of data about Oxy and similar schools.
b)
acts as a resource to guide the assessment of all College programs including
academic, co-curricular, and administrative.
c)
monitors and provides leadership for the College's retention efforts.
d)
assists academic programs by providing data to be used in academic program
reviews.
e) serves as resource and
monitors WASC Accreditation efforts.
Both the Director of
Institutional Research (Mike Tamada) and the Director of Assessment and
Retention (vacant) have offices in Johnson 105.
