Eligibility: GPA of 3.0 

Dates: Fall: Early September – Late December
          Spring: Early February – Late May

Location: Amsterdam.

Program Structure: This is a hybrid program.  Students
study at the CIEE center located near the University of
Amsterdam's International School.  Students take classes
at the International School and also take regular University
of Amsterdam courses in English for which they meet the
prerequisites.  The semester consists of two 8-week class
periods with exams at the end.

Academic Program: Students will take a minimum of four
courses chosen from ISHSS, UvA, and CIEE Dutch language
course offerings, totaling a minimum of fifteen CIEE credits
for which students will receive sixteen Oxy credits.

TOTAL Oxy credits: 16
Note that Occidental students are required to take Dutch
language, at the appropriate level, as one of their courses.  

Students should work carefully with the academic staff on-site
to construct an academic program totaling no fewer than sixteen
credits.  A maximum of sixteen Oxy credits will be awarded for
the semester.

Housing: Single rooms in dorm-like residence halls at the
University of Amsterdam with shared shower and kitchen
facilities. 

Number of Students: CIEE group: 40-50 students.
University of Amsterdam: 25,000 students.
