Eligibility:
3.0 GPA. A minimum of one course related to
Italy is required.
Dates: Fall: Late August – Mid-December

Mid-January – Late May
Location: Milan
Program Structure: This is an island program. Students
are required to study Italian language at
the appropriate
level and then choose from a selection of area
studies
courses taught in English by local faculty expressly for
students on the IES program. The program is based at the
IES study
center located at the Universita Cattolica.
A
music program offers options for instrumentalists, vocalists,
composers and music performance majors. Internships for
credit can be arranged and include an academic seminar
for students to reflect and discuss their experience.
Fieldtrips and cultural events are
organized throughout the
semester and are subsidized by IES.

Students should work carefully with
the academic staff
on-site to construct an academic program totaling no fewer
than sixteen credits. A maximum of sixteen Oxy credits will
be awarded for the semester.
