Keep Your Beneficiary Designations Up-to-Date

Please remember to keep your beneficiary designations up-to-date. This will guarantee that your loved ones will be protected. Beneficiaries should be designated for both the life insurance plans offered by the College and the TIAA/CREF retirement annuity plans. Please contact Jacie Feigelman at x2614 as soon as possible if you would like to update or check on your beneficiaries under these programs.

Summary Annual Report for Occidental College Employees for 2010

This is a summary of the annual report for College-sponsored benefit plans, 95-1667177 for 2010. Annual reports for each plan have been filed with the Internal Revenue Service, as required under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).

This is an annual notice and applies to the Plan Year beginning on January 1, 2012.

Tuition Exchange Program

Occidental College participates in the Tuition Exchange Program, which provides national scholarship opportunities for dependent children of faculty, administrators and staff who have completed at least five years of continuous full-time service to the College. 

Jury Duty Leave Policy

It is the College's policy to enable its employees to fulfill their civic obligations. If an employee is called to serve on jury duty, the employee is requested to notify his or her supervisor immediately.
