Global
Perspectives
is an undergraduate international affairs journal that
cultivates scholarship, encourages diverse dialogue, and
fosters critical students’ viewpoints on world politics.
Global Perspectives welcomes submissions from
undergraduate students from around the world. Exceptional
post-graduate submissions will also be considered.
On this
year’s theme:
Religion
has become an important aspect of international peace and
conflict. In this edition of Global Perspectives, we
want to focus on the social and political implications of
religious doctrine on local, national and international
politics. Our aim is to invite a wide range of submissions
that highlight the complex interplay between religion and
politics.
STYLE GUIDELINES
Submissions
should be written in clear, jargon-free English with proper
citation. Our goal is to be accessible to a variety of
readers: International Relations scholars, Political
Scientists, policy-makers, journalists, and others.
Text format
should generally follow Chicago Manual of Style.
§
Submissions
should be approximately 1,000 to 5,000 words.
§
Submissions will
be reviewed by the editors. Upon acceptance, submissions
will be returned to authors for revision and re-submission.
§
Endnotes in
Chicago note style should be used.
§
An abstract
should be included, not to exceed 250 words.
