Broderick is a media
practitioner and scholar who endeavors to
put theory into practice and to translate
his practical experience into new theory.
His award winning narrative, experimental,
and documentary works have screened
internationally--theatrically, on
television, at film festivals, and online.
He works professionally as a film and video
editor, and his critical writing has
appeared in Film Quarterly and Spectator.
Broderick teaches courses in film and video
production, narrative theory and
screenwriting, documentary production,
cinema aesthetics, and themed
theory-production seminars on subjects such
as autobiography in film and video and
representations of body, gender, and
sexuality in media. |
