Over the past year Mario
Aguilar has been building a successful financial consulting career with
Woodbury Financial Services located in Diamond Bar, CA. Following graduation
Mario moved to Pasadena and currently lives with Edward Gorton '01. The past
year has been a great learning experience, and Mario looks forward to crossing
paths with other Oxy Econ Alums in the near future. (2002)
After traveling in Spain, Christina Ahn returned to living in Northridge. Christina is currently working as a Loan Officer at the Small Business Administration Department at Pacific Union Bank in Los Angeles.

Kevin Armstrong lives in the beautiful hills of Mt. Washington with Arman
Sertyan ('00), Matt Larson ('00), Chad Karthauser ('01) and Jeremy Castro('99). He is presently working as a buyer/manager for Federal Metals Co. in Los Angeles.

José Arzate:
We are really enjoying our new home in Palo Alto. Ben and I have undertaken
several design projects to add "our" touch. Home projects never cease to end,
but our Basset Hound Tito makes everything better. We are considering having a
child through surrogacy, so if anyone has insight, please share it. I am still
employed as a Senior Patient Representative at Stanford Hospital & Clinics, so
if anyone is interested in learning more about careers in healthcare, please let
me know. Stay in touch...

After graduating from Occidental College in 2001, Daniel Barre went to
France for a year to learn the langauge and travel around a bit. Since returning
he has had a couple of different jobs and has been working at a trading firm at
the moment. Currently he is preparing to take the series 55 exam. He is planning
to go to France and the Czech republic this November for a couple of weeks to
meet up with friends and take some time off. He is sorry for being horrible at
keeping in contact with people and he hopes that no one has taken any offense.

After graduating, Charlene
Colby took some time to travel and enjoy her time away from studying.
She visited Spain and Greece in June 2001. She then spent January and February
2002 on the Caribbean island Tobago. She is currently working for The Elizabeth
Hospice as a Volunteer Coordinator and living in San Diego.

Kristy
Felker is living in Pleasant Hill and is teaching 6th grade core—Reading, English and Social Studies. She will be completing her courses for her
teaching credential this winter. Although she is enjoying working with middle
school kids, she plans on teaching high school economics and government after
she gets her credential. (2002)
Olivia Gin is still living in Los Angeles currently working at Aon Risk Services (insurance brokerage) as a Documents Specialist in Downtown. She hopes to attend Grad school soon, that is if she can afford it!

Naoko Kawasaki worked in Internal Communication for the British Telecom
company, Cable & Wireless IDC (currently Sofbank Telecom Corp.) and then for an
Argentine-Japanese seamless tube company, Tenaris NKKTubes. However, she left
the company and is delivering her first baby on Oct 1,2007. (2007) Osman
Khan continues to live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area, messing
around with his car in his spare time. You can find him at the Infineon Raceway
or Sacramento dragway some weekends, but that will probably end soon, as he is
getting married this October, to Madiha Khan (also a fellow Oxy Alum) who will

Kristian Kratz
moved to Venice Beach in 2004. Shortly there after he opened a retail store of
his own, and has been working on that project for a couple of years. The store
is operating with a great deal of success. Early 2006, after a year in
operation, the store expanded to double its original size. Now, he is
considering pursuing a graduate degree at UCLA.

Jas Lee:
After moving 12 times since graduation, Jas has progressed her way across the
United States to settle in Pittsburgh, PA...at least for a minute. While living
in Colorado, she started her own ecommerce business and is currently working
with her team on expansion to the west coast. If there are any Oxy alums who
know of people looking at business opportunity, she would love to hear from you.
In addition to business, she is also working for the VP of eMarketing at
Highmark and finally going back to school in the winter to start working on that
MBA (now that someone else will pay for it).

Joaquin
Lujan: After about two and half years in San Francisco, Joaquin
is back in New Mexico (his home state) where he manages a $1.2 billion fixed
income portfolio at the State Treasurer's Office. When he is not studying for
Level II of the CFA exam, he is enjoying the great outdoors with his wife,
Julie, and welcomes any alumni to join them at their high desert escape (joaquinglujan@yahoo.com). Tracy Orcholski
has just finished the second year of her econ PhD program at
UCLA where she is studying industrial organization. She misses her Yahoo! days,
but finds her research agenda revolves around the Internet. She loves living in
Brentwood and the easy distance to the beach. (2007) Bess Pope is working as an event coordinator at Stanford University for the Dean of Students office.

Demaree Raveaux
returned in September of 2003 from 2 years on the JET program in Northern Japan
and is currently enjoying working in Portland, OR as a project manager for an
international packaging design and procurement firm. (200 After graduating, Hideyuki
Sagawa started working at the headquarters of Mitsubishi Electronic Company
in Japan. He holds a sales position in the Factory Automation division.

Doug Schnell
After two years at Cornell's law school, Doug Schnell transitioned into
Cornell's S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management for the year (where he is
reading many of the same cases first seen in Econ 350, Managerial Economics).
After spending this past summer in Boston at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, it
looks like he's headed to a law firm in New York City for both the coming summer
and after he graduates in 2005 with a JD and MBA.

Voreades: Last year, Noah decided to quit the world of finance
and start fresh in the entertainment industry. Currently, he is the Product
Integration Manager on the NBC TV show The Apprentice. For the past year, he has
been splitting his time between Los Angeles and NYC He will be in NYC for the
Fall and would like to meet any Oxy Alums in the area. Dont forget to tune-in to
the 4th season of The Apprentice, 9/8pm on NBC!
