Don
van Deventer continues as Chairman and CEO of risk management firm
Kamakura, based in Honolulu. His daughter Ella, now 10, is a dedicated ballerina
and fan of "That's So Raven" on the Disney Channel. Don has just returned from
Japan on behalf of the Hawaii Bicycling League, where he is a director and one
of the liaisons to Japan Airlines. JAL is a major sponsor of the Honolulu
Century Ride. Professionally, Don and his colleagues now have clients in 21
countries from Croatia to South Africa so Don's bicycle mileage has been
disappointing this year.

Steve Silver is a lawyer/lobbyist in Arlington, VA. He
specializes in western resource, communication, and other "fight with the
government" issues. His most difficult assignment was to lobby fellow Oxy
'73 alum Dennis Patrick when he was Chairman of the Federal Communications
Commission. Dennis did not like the political world and hated to meet
with people like me. I never took it personally. That was 10 years ago.
Hey Dennis, where are you now? (2000)
