ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF
Occidental College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor
position in the Cognitive Science Program. We seek someone whose research
interests lie within Computational Cognitive Science broadly construed, whose
work deals with computational approaches to one or more areas of cognition. A
strong commitment to teaching and research at a liberal arts institution is
essential. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in cognitive science or a related field
by the start date of August 2009. The successful applicant will contribute to
expanding our curriculum, will have opportunities to teach classes both within
and outside of the Cognitive Science Program, and will contribute to developing
