Career Counselors

Two professional counselors provide career counseling.  Career advising is provided by trained paraprofessionals who are prepared to listen to your needs, and then work with you to develop a plan to reach your career goals. It is important to remember, however, that career counselors and advisors can only act as your "coaches." It is up to you make your career plan a reality.

There are two types of services provided by Career Counselors and Advisors:

1.  Career advising is provided on a drop-in basis as time permits.  If it is determined that an appointment is required, one will be scheduled at that time.

2.  Individual counseling appointments are available at selected times on most days of the week. These appointments are reserved for students/alumni with the most need and are provided at the discretion of the Career Development Center.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (323) 259-2623.  

There are no fees charged for career advising and counseling. Our hours vary based upon the time of the year. Our location stays the same.
