Jason Manley received a M.F.A. in Combined Media at the University of Arizona and a B.F.A. in Painting at the University of Kansas. His installations and drawings have been exhibited nationally, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tucson, Arizona, the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe, and Delta Axis Gallery in Memphis, Tennesse. He has been awarded residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and received an Individual Grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. He has instructed Drawing and Design courses at several colleges in the Los Angeles, including Long Beach City College and Los Angeles Valley College, and taught a seminar on Site-specific Art as a visiting artist at Illinois State University. His artwork shifts between Sculpture, Installation, and Drawing to explore memory, history, and space.
